This class is for students with limited bridge experience who have completed a class in basic bidding in uncontested auctions. The class will focus on what to do when both sides are competing in an auction. The class will cover preemptive opening bids, take-out doubles, overcalls, the limit raise cue bid, negative doubles, and an introduction to opening two clubs and bidding slams. The class will also spend time on more advanced playing techniques and defense. The class will last approximately ten weeks.
The class is open to all, both members and non-members of the St. Petersburg Bridge Club.
Cost: Free, but donations to the St. Petersburg bridge Club will be appreciated
Time of Class: Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
