St. Petersburg Bridge Club Mentorship Program
Most of us learned to play bridge because someone took the time to teach us on a direct, personal level. That's why the St. Petersburg Bridge Club has a strong commitment to matching developing players with mentors who can help.
About the program
You must be a member of the St. Petersburg Bridge Club to be a mentee. Club dues are only $20 a year.
The mentee traditionally pays the game fee for the mentor. It's a small way to say "thank-you" to the experienced bridge player who is willing to help you master the game.
We ask that both mentee and mentor commit to at least four games together during a two month period.
Please don't discuss the hands during the game. Instead, set a time for review and suggestions.

What happens next?
Your completed forms will be sent to Elaine Garafalo, who runs our Mentorship Program. She will review your information, match you up with the right person, and contact you both to make the introduction. After that, you are on your own to set up your games and determine how to work together. If you need help, Elaine will be happy to give you advice on how to proceed. Contact her at email@example.com.
You might not hear from Elaine immediately. As you can imagine, this process depends on having the right mentors for the right mentees, Sometimes it takes time to find the perfect match.
